Coronavirus (COVID-19) – hub for SPICe material

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Last updated 24 July 2020.

This blogpost provides a central hub for all SPICe work on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and some links to other useful sources of parliamentary information to assist Members and others.

During the summer recess, which is scheduled to run from 27 June to 9 August 2020, updates will be less frequent. On 24 July, the format of the subject-specific section below was revised and reorganised by subject.

SPICe regular blogs – trusted information, COVID statistics and timeline

As many readers will be aware, we began producing a blogpost on trusted and official sources of information on 19 March.  We plan to update this around twice per week during summer recess.

In addition, on 30 March we launched another regularly updated blogpost – a summary of the high-level statistics on Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Scotland, in the form of interactive charts and graphs. This will be updated once per week during summer recess.

Finally, on 1 May we introduced a new timeline on Scotland’s response to the pandemic, which will also be updated regularly, and twice per week during recess.
